Wine in BIB (Bag-in-Box)

Wine Bag-in-box (BiB) is a method of packaging wine when a sealed bag of several liters is placed in a branded cardboard box. A box made of regular or corrugated cardboard is designed to ensure the integrity of the goods during transportation. The internal package of the Bag-in-Box packaging is designed to ensure the safety of the product after it is opened. Such packaging does not affect the taste of wine. The main goal is to maximize the shelf life, which is quite successfully achieved thanks to the tap with protection, which minimizes the penetration of oxygen into the packaging. It is this oxidizing agent that primarily renders products unusable, so the effectiveness of such a system has long been justified.
