Saperavi - semi-sweet red wine, produced from grapes of the Saperavi variety harvested from the vineyards of the Cahul district, in the south of the Republic of Moldova, an ideal region for the production of red wines. The Saperavi variety was created in the historical province of Kakheti in Georgia.
Color – deep ruby red with a bright crimson tinge
Aroma – notes of currant, pomegranate, cherries
Taste – slightly astringent with overripe black fruit flavors
Temperature for consumption – + 18°С
Storage temperature – +5 + 20°С
Culinary Associations – chocolate desserts, well-ripened cheeses, red fruits
