Merlot - red dry collection wine with PGI Reserve, made from selected grapes of the Merlot variety, hand-harvested from our own plantations, the Valul lui Traian (Trajan's Wave) Protected Geographical Indication area. The given region is unique for its pedo-climatic conditions for the production of red wines. The Merlot variety was created in the province of Bordeaux, in France.

Color – ruby with notes of ripe cherries and prunes
Aroma – varietal, intense of smoked plums, wood and dark chocolate
Taste – complex, structured, slightly astringent, with long-lasting aftertaste

Culinary Associations – pasta with red sauce, lasagna, grilled ribs, stew, semi-hard cheeses
